The main requirement for this Beijing apartment was to introduce a comfortable statement sofa without overwhelming the connected living and dining area. RSK2320 was selected for its low-profile form, deep seating and generously padded appearance. Its continuous rounded edges soften the straight architectural lines of the apartment, while the gathered upholstery and subtle tufted details give the sofa a relaxed, inviting character.
The finished sofa measures 3000 × 1050 × 800 mm, providing ample seating while maintaining a clear relationship with the coffee tables, dining zone and circulation space. A light neutral Motu Masha suede-textured fabric was selected to coordinate with the warm beige walls, timber flooring and soft furnishings. The understated colour also allows the client to personalize the room through cushions, artwork and seasonal accessories.
Inside, high-density, high-resilience foam provides structured support, while a feather-top layer creates a softer surface feel and fuller upholstered profile. A Russian larch wood frame supports the wide sofa structure and is suitable for long-term residential use. Following dimensional and material confirmation, the sofa was manufactured and delivered for installation in the completed apartment. The final result is a warm, contemporary living space that combines generous comfort with a visually soft and residential atmosphere.
